The Hammer Lane Hippies are a unique band that defies traditional genre labels. Father-son duo, Mike and Tyler "Lee" Wells, who have had a long history of creative songwriting, started writing and cultivating the band and it’s songs in early 2020 soon after Lee had graduated Latta Highschool.

The band gained its missing piece in February 2023 when drummer Gavin Brecheen joined, infusing the group with a new level of energy and passion. This would lead to many hours creating different fusions of grunge and funk with a little bit of reggae until they finally became The Hammer Lane Hippies.

Rather than conforming to trends or predefined genres, the trio writes and performs music straight from the heart and soul, focusing on expressing their take on life through their music. Become apart of the Mushroom Crew and catch their next show!
